Study

Studying the works and print technique

This page gathers the ways to look closely at Mucha on this site: follow a curated path, learn to read print detail, check the rights of each image and cite what you use.

Curated paths

Follow one idea across several sheets

Series group the works by commission, cycle or theme, so a motif or a client can be followed from one print to the next.

Technique & lithography

Read the print surface

Each artwork page records the technique and opens the image in deep zoom, where ink layers, edges and colour transitions can be examined closely. The essays explain what to look for.

Licensing & downloads

Check the rights of every image

Every artwork page states its rights status, attribution and the source of the reproduction. This project does not sell access to the images; for questions about use, see the legal page and contact.
